There are some sites out there that are not quite so trustworthy, so we do need to run some checks before you will be approved into the ARGOS AFFILIATE program. Plus, we will need you to read and stick to the terms and conditions which you can view on our program profile pages. Once you have been successfully accepted as an ARGOS affiliate, you can start earning commission straightaway.

DISCLAIMER: AFFILIATE PROGRAM RESTRICTIONS

By participating in the affiliate program offered by ArgosFragrances.com, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read this disclaimer carefully before proceeding with the program:

1. Self‑Referrals Excluded

Affiliates cannot earn rewards by using their own affiliate referral link or discount code. This means that if you purchase products on ArgosFragrances.com using your own discount code or referral link, you will not receive any affiliate commission on those purchases.

2. Genuine Referrals Only

The affiliate program is designed to reward affiliates for referring new, genuine customers to ArgosFragrances.com. To qualify for affiliate commissions:

• The referred customers must be genuine and not self‑referrals.

• Any attempt to artificially inflate sales or commissions will be considered a violation of this policy.

3. Unacceptable Usage

Any attempts to circumvent these restrictions, including but not limited to:

• Creating multiple accounts,

• Using friends/family to simulate genuine referrals,

• Using deceptive practices to generate self‑referrals or non‑genuine traffic,

will result in immediate termination from the affiliate program. We reserve the right to withhold any unpaid commissions and take appropriate action against such violations.

4. Ethical Promotion

As an affiliate, you are expected to promote ArgosFragrances.com in an ethical manner. This includes:

• Adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.

• Maintaining the integrity and reputation of both ArgosFragrances.com and the affiliate program.

• Providing honest and accurate information about our products and brand in your content.

5. GOOGLE ADS / PAID SEARCH POLICY (IMPORTANT)

To protect our brand and advertising investments, referral traffic generated from Google Ads or other paid search campaigns is strictly prohibited.

By joining the Argos Fragrances Affiliate Program, you agree to the following:

1. No Paid Search Traffic for Affiliate Referrals
   

• Affiliates may not use Google Ads, Bing Ads, Yahoo Ads, or any other paid search platform to drive traffic to ArgosFragrances.com via their affiliate links.

2. No Bidding on Brand or Coupon Keywords
   
    Affiliates may not bid on:
   

• “Argos Fragrances”, our brand name, our domain name, or any misspellings or variations.

• Any combination of our brand with terms such as “coupon”, “promo code”, “discount”, “voucher”, or similar.

3. No Direct Linking from Ads to Affiliate Links
    
   Affiliates may not:
   

• Direct‑link from paid search ads to any URL containing their Argos Fragrances affiliate tracking parameters.

• Use cloaked URLs or redirects that have the same practical effect.

4. Automatic Rejection of Google Ads–Based Referrals
   
   Our affiliate system is configured so that orders originating from Google Ads clicks are automatically flagged and the associated affiliate commission is rejected.
   

• No commission will be paid on sales identified as coming from Google Ads or other paid search traffic.

• This is to prevent brand‑bidding hijacking and to ensure that commissions only reward truly incremental, organic referrals.

5. Violation of This Policy
   
   Violation of the paid search / Google Ads policy may result in:
   

• Immediate rejection of related commissions, and

• Suspension or termination of the affiliate account, at the sole discretion of Argos Fragrances.

6. COUPON SITE & BRANDED SEARCH INTERCEPTION POLICY

The Argos Fragrances Affiliate Program is designed to reward affiliates who drive genuine new customers to ArgosFragrances.com, not to reward last-click interception of customers who were already searching for our brand by name.

By joining the Argos Fragrances Affiliate Program, you agree to the following:

No Public Promo Code Scraping or Listing

Affiliates may not list, post, share, or otherwise distribute Argos Fragrances public, non-personal promotional discount codes (such as seasonal campaign codes, store-wide promo codes, or any code not specifically assigned to you) on any:

• Coupon aggregator website (such as SimplyCodes, Knoji, RetailMeNot, Wethrift, Honey, Slickdeals, Dealspotr, Dealspur, CouponFollow, or any similar site)
• Cashback or rebate site
• Browser extension that auto-applies discount codes
• Public blog post or social media post designed to rank for "Argos Fragrances coupon" or similar branded-coupon search terms

No Branded Search Interception

Affiliates may not deliberately target customers who are already searching for Argos Fragrances by name through any channel, including organic SEO, paid ads (see Section 5), social media campaigns optimized for our brand keywords, or any cookie-stuffing/click-trap mechanism.

No Cookie Trap Mechanisms

Affiliates may not use "click to reveal code" buttons, redirect chains, hidden iframes, or any similar technique designed to drop an affiliate tracking cookie on customers who did not knowingly click an affiliate link.

What This Means in Practice

The intent of this policy is straightforward: if a customer was already on their way to ArgosFragrances.com because they knew about our brand, you cannot insert yourself between them and us to claim commission.

Acceptable: introducing a new customer to Argos Fragrances through an honest review, recommendation, social post, or curated list where Argos is one of several brands.

Not acceptable: scraping our public promo codes, listing Argos on a coupon site, or targeting customers searching for our brand or coupons.

Existing Coupon Site Partnerships

Argos Fragrances may from time to time enter into separate written partnership agreements with specific coupon, cashback, or affiliate-network sites under defined commercial terms. Such partnerships are exempt from this section only to the extent of their written agreement, and only while the agreement is active.

Monitoring and Audit

Argos Fragrances reserves the right to monitor traffic sources, audit affiliate activity, and request information about your promotional methods at any time. Affiliates must respond truthfully to such requests.

Consequences of Violation

Violation of this policy may result in:

• Immediate rejection of any pending or future commissions earned through prohibited activity
• Forfeiture of unpaid commission balance
• Immediate termination of the affiliate account, at the sole discretion of Argos Fragrances
• Permanent ban from re-applying to the Argos Fragrances Affiliate Program

This policy applies to all affiliates, including those who joined the program prior to the publication of these updated terms. Continued participation in the program after publication of these terms constitutes acceptance.

 

7. COMMISSION ELIGIBILITY

• Affiliate commissions will only be awarded for referred purchases made by genuine customers who have followed a valid affiliate referral link or used a valid affiliate discount code during their purchase on ArgosFragrances.com.

• Commissions are subject to validation and may be declined if they are deemed ineligible, fraudulent, or in violation of any of the policies above (including self‑referrals and paid search violations).

8. MODIFICATION OF TERMS

ArgosFragrances.com reserves the right to modify, update, or terminate the affiliate program or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to stay informed about any changes by regularly reviewing the terms and conditions provided on our website and within the affiliate portal.

By participating in the affiliate program, you indicate your understanding and agreement to comply with these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the program, please contact our team at info@buyargos.com for assistance.

Note: Affiliate payments are scheduled for disbursement every month between the 10th and 15th. Payments will be sent out once the affiliate’s balance reaches a minimum of $50 USD.
